Description

There are things off on this picture from the lighting to the angle of the shot, but I still think it achieves a nice effect. What do you guys think?

a nice effect indeed
but it would be far better if we could see her eye in my opinion
lighting or post processing is a bit overdone also :)
when you can't see the eye, it's hard to connect with the girl... she looks like an object...

The man (blackshad) has a point!

Still very nice setup and mood! :)

I actually kind of like having no eye contact. If she were looking right into the camera, it would be dramatic, but - that's the "normal" thing to have the model do. This way, she's a bit more mysterious, and there's an almost sculptural feel to it.

Two ideas. One, I find the pearls very distracting for some reason; maybe burn them down a little? The other is the crop doesn't work very well for me; maybe crop down some of that empty space above and rotate to upright position to bring focus onto the model more?

A beautiful subject. Lighting is there. I don't mind not seeing the eye but in this case she appears to be looking too far to the left which seems unnatural. The glowing smooth skin has been overdone. Would like to see it in B&W with just levels adjustment.

She doesn't have to look AT the camera, but viewers usually need eye contact to establish a connection with models. This photo lends itself to need that establishment. I wish I saw a little twinkle in her eye and that the model was gazing off to her left or right. Seeing so much of her makeup really bothers me, it's adding a texture to her skin that's very unpleasing.

Nice concept, take our ideas and do it again! haha easier said than done, I know. +7/10

Beatiful, looks perfect to me....!!!!
This is about what you want to get, what are the results you´re looking for, if she were looking at the camera the "mood" would´ve changed completely, so it´s a matter of taste IMO....!!!

nice effect, but I wish you did it reversed, so we could see the face and have the shoulder in glow.
